AS1 - Audio Squelch Board

The board has a Micor squelch circuit, Rx and Tx audio buffering and PTT buffering.  The board has mounting holes for a GE MVP and GE Century radio as well as mounting holes in the corners for whatever else you want to put it in.  The circuit is basically a reformulated Dillo 1016.

The connectors on the left side ( a 10 pin header or DB-9 ) are for external connection to the control system.  The connectors on the right side are (top) for plugging into a PL encoder / decoder and (bottom) for interface to the radio itself.  One advantage of this board over the 1016 is that all connections go through header connectors so you can just unscrew the board, lift out the headers and swap the board.  Easy to field replace the unit.
