SRA Portable Repeater Project

This repeater is a self-contained UHF repeater with a half-duplex 1200 Mhz / 430 Mhz link radio / remote base.  The unit is still under construction so some of the parts are not yet installed and some cables are not shown connected.  The link radio can operate on 430 to 440 MHz and 1260 to 1300 Mhz.

The case is an ex-military test equipment case.

The 1200 MHz / 430 Mhz link / remote base radio is a Kenwood TM-833 mounted to the top of the internal panel.  Power and coax are fed through the panel to the inside of the case, the white cable is for the audio/PTT connections.  The lid can be removed.

Inside the case, under the top panel are the two UHF GE MVP radios, one for Rx and one for Tx.  The 6 cavity notch duplexer is in the back.  The Black box is a 3 band "triplexer" for 2m/UHF/1200 MHz.  All radios are routed through the triplexer to one common antenna connection on the top panel.  The control system goes on top of the Rx MVP on the right side.
