Sierra Radio Association - Net Control Script

Fifteen (15) Seconds before the net is to begin, announce:

"ALL STATIONS ON FREQUENCY, PLEASE STAND BY,  This is <<Your Call>>"

ATTENTION ALL STATIONS. This is <<Your Call>>, <<Your Name>>  in  <<Your City>>  Net control for the Sierra Radio Net.  This is a directed net. 

This Net meets every Tuesday at 2100 hours.

The purpose of this Net is to exchange information of interest to SRA members, welcome guests and train members in emergency communication.

This evening we will take member and guest check-ins followed by general announcements.

(OPTIONAL)  After the net we will have on open roundtable discussion led by <<Host Call and Name>>  on <<Topic>>. 

At this time, do we have any emergency traffic? (UNKEY and listen for any calls. If there is emergency traffic, you will handle the situation.)

Hearing none (usually), we will take member check-ins.  Please respond with your call, name, location and indicate if you have traffic for the net.

    You hear:  "W6XYZ, Bob in San Jose, no traffic"
    Your reply: "W6XYZ, Bob in San Jose"

    Repeat until you have heard all member check-ins.

We will now take guest check-ins.  All radio amateurs are welcome to check in at this time.  Please respond with your call, name, location and indicate if you have traffic or a question for the net.
